Eighty years ago, in 1943, when Willy Breitling designed the original Premier collection of watches, he wanted to satisfy his customers’ desire for elegance and glamor. But these early Premier watches were just the first step in combining direct timekeeping intentions with unabashed horology. In fact, the name Premier does not refer to adding a timing function to a beautiful timepiece. not at all. Instead, "Premier" is designed to evoke elevated style and high quality.

From the beginning, the Premier was a sophisticated timepiece with a profound timekeeping purpose.
